CL’s most wanted falls in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – After six years in hiding, one of Central Luzon’s most wanted persons was finally arrested last April 6 in Floridablanca town in this province.

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon identified the arrested suspect as Gerald Chingcuango, 52, who os the subject of a warrant of arrest for rape with no bail recommended issued by Judge Marideth Delos Santos-Malig of Guagua RTC Branch 51.

Floridablanca chief of police Lt. Col. Eugene Marcelo said Chingcuangco, who is the prime suspect in the rape of his neighbor in April 2015, is currently detained and will be presented to the court.

In Angeles City, another most wanted person identified as Moises Pamintuan, of legal age, was arrested by elements of the PIT Pampanga RIU3, Angeles police, CIDG CFU Angeles, CIU ACPO, 72nd MICO 7MIB 7ID PA, RID3, WCPD-RIDMU3 on the strength of a warrant issued by Judge Katrina Nora Buan-Factora of Angeles City RTC Branch 10.

No bail was recommended for Pamintuan who is facing a rape case.

Meanwhile, police operatives arrested two suspected drug peddlers and confiscated some P328,000 worth of illegal drugs in Barangay San Rafael, Tarlac City last April 6.

Acting Tarlac police provincial director Col. Renate Cabico identified the suspects as Lorenzo Jacob, a retired policeman, and Freluz Sotto, 28.

Seized from the duo were 28 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 35 grams and has a DDB value of P238,000 and the marked P3,000 peso bills used in the buy-bust.
