Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman George Erwin Garcia assured on Wednesday that the internet voting for overseas Filipino voters in Thailand will push through.

The assurance was give ny Garcia in view of the strong earthquake that hit the said country over the weekend.

Garcia said they see no voting problem in Thailand, where there are over 8,000 voters.

“May nararamdaman na aftershocks but at the same time, stick pa rin sa kung ano talaga ang dapat na paraan ng pagboto,” said Garcia.

It will be recalled that a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar on March 28, leaving 2,065 individuals dead so far. The quake also damaged nearby countries that included Thailand.
