Manila Police District -Police Station 7 operatives arrested a construction worker after he allegedly harassed a three-year-old girl.
Nabbed on Sunday night along Pampanga Street in Tondo, Manila was suspect Rommel Quin, 21, of No. 742 B. Benita Street. Gagalangin Tondo, Manila. He had been charged with violation of Sec 5 of RA 7610 or the child abuse law before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim’s mother told the police the incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. while the victim was playing in front of their residence.
When the suspect arrived, he suddenly hugged the victim and began kissing her in the neck, cheeks and lips.
Immediately, the mother took her kid and brought her home. She then proceeded to seek help from the barangay and had the suspect arrested by Barangay Kagawad Rogelio Cristobal of Barangay 185.
