General Trias, City, Cavite — Four men believed to be armed with toy guns held up a couple of their gadgets and an undetermined amount of cash last Thursday night.
Police said the suspects onboard two motorcycles held up victims Abner Dumali, 46, and his wife Citabel, 44, of Bgy. Bacao 1, this city at 5 p.m.
The victims said they had just arrived home from their store at the city public market when the suspects approached and forcibly grabbed the bag of Citadel containing money and gadgets.
One of the suspects in their haste, left the gun which turned out to be a plastic toy gun, police said.
Meanwhile, a university in Lipa City, Batangas lost P300,000 cash to unidentified burglars at about 5:30 a.m.
The University of Batangas, which is located in Bgy. Marawoy, Lipa City, was robbed at 5:30 a.m. The amount was kept at the cashier’s office, which was in total disarray.
