COVID-19 kills 3 more,  infects 36 in Quezon

LUCENA CITY — Three more carriers of the coronavirus desease (COVID-19) have died while 36 individuals were infected with the dreaded respiratory desease in Quezon which as of Saturday had 1,005 confirmed cases.

In its latest bulletin Saturday morning, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO) said three virus carriers, two in Lucban and one in Pagbilao have died in the hospitals.

The QPIO also announced that there are 36 new confirned COVID- 19 cases but there are also 38 confined patients who have recovered.

Quezon, according to QPIO has 1,005 confirmed cases including 582 recoveries, 34 deaths and 389 avtive cases.

But Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) chief Dr. Grace Santiago clarified that despite the continuing increase of confirmed cases in Quezon, it still has the lowest in Calabarzon.

Quezon is now under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) staus except for this city which remains under MGCQ.
