COVID pandemic drives entertainer to hang self

A 21-YEAR-OLD entertainer who lost his livelihood because of the COVID-19 pandemic reportedly hanged himself inside his home in Malate, Manila.

The entertainer, of Adriatico Street in Malate, Manila, was found dead at 3:47 p.m.

Prober PSS. Mark Daniel De Guzman, of the Manila Police District- Homicide Section, said that based on the account of the victim’s live-in partner, the entertainer had been problematic since he stopped earning.

It was learned that the victim is an entertainer in parties.

His partner works in a casino but is not a regular employee.

The victim’s body will be autopsied to ensure that there was no foul play in his death.
