CAUAYAN CITY – Local designers in Isabela have been featured in an exhibit at the SM Mall on Saturday (Jan. 25) featuring their creations during the Bambanti Festival which formally ended today (Jan. 26).
The gowns symbolize the meticulously crafted dresses and headdresses to symbolize the richness of Isabela’s heritage and the virtues of its people. The intricate designs feature a blend of thousands of pearls, beads, crystals, and trimmings, and are thoughtfully arranged to evoke purity, innocence, wisdom, wealth, and confidence, the organizers said. The fabrics, textures, and colors mirror the vibrance and resilience of Isabeleños, while the flowing panels of the gown tell a story of culture, history, and faith, they added.
The creations of local designers such as Jefferson Go, who designed the evening gown of Cauayan’s lass, Jarina Sandhu, who won as Miss Bambanti Queen 2025, and Danny Ross Trinidad, were among those displayed.
The scarecrow represents the creativity and industriousness of the Isabeleños, and pay homage to the deep faith of the villagers.
