A VILLAGE watchman punched and shot in the back his daughter’s suitor in Bgy. Sampiro, Balayan, Batangas.
Balayan Municipal Police Station commander Captain Jeffrey M. Dallo identified the victim as Richard Saet.
The suspect managed to escape. He was identified as Bgy. Sampiro watchman Aurello Seña.
Initial investigation showed the suspect learned the victim was with his daughter, Alesha Seña, in this village at 10 p.m. Sunday.
Police said Seña was enraged, proceeded to the area and punched Saet twice.
The victim tried to run away but was shot by the suspect, hitting him in the back.
The bloodied victim was rushed to the Metro Balayan Medical Center for treatment.
