The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), through its Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), gather representatives from the plastic industry associations and corporations, sanitary landfill operators, non-government organizations, academe, and local government units, during the final presentation of the implementing rules and regulations and national framework of Republic Act 11898 or the Extended Producer Responsibility Act of 2022. The activity is in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Japan.
