THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) is set to initiate a deportation case against the alien importer of the luxury vehicles for Pacifico “Curlee” and Sarah Discaya, who are currently embroiled in the multi-billion flood control program scandal.
This was bared by BI deputy spokesman Melvin Mabulac during the bureau’s year-end conference, where he stated that Cao Cheng, 41, is now detained at the Special Operations Division of the Highway Patrol Group in Camp Crame and will be transferred to the BI’s facility in Taguig after inquest and medical exam.
Mabulac said that based on information from LTO Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao, Cao was previously arrested last November 27 in Makati for violations that include obstruction of apprehension, illegal use of alias, false representation and willful misrepresentation.
Documents show Cao used the alias “Martin Zhao” in LTO records and according to Mabulac, the alien now faces a BI case; and if found guilty, he will be deported and blacklisted.
Cao, said to be the owner of ACH High-End Motor Center is a foreign national who has misrepresented himself thus making him an undesirable alien who has no right to remain in the country, the BI said.
