THE Department of Health (DOH) is on Code White Alert due to the expected landfall of typhoon ‘Paolo.’
The DOH said that since October 1, the DOH Central Office has raised a Code White alert due to the reported entry of ‘Paolo’ into the country on Friday, October 3.
According to the DOH, the said alert would mean that the DOH Operations Center is in readiness to provide medicines, medical equipment and health emergency response teams for the regions that are expected to be adversely affected by the typhoon.
The National Emergency Hotline 911 and local emergency hotlines are also ready to accept calls from those who need help.
