DOH warns public vs. scammers re ‘Zero Balance Billing’

THE Department of Health (DOH) is warning the public against falling prey to scammers, particularly those claiming to be fixers of the national government’s ‘Zero Balance Billing’ program.

Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa issued the warning on a social media post, saying uncsrupulous individuals have been using the said program to dupe others.

Herbosa reminded the public that they may coordinate directrkt with the Billing Section of the DOH Hospital if they want to avail of the said program.

The DOH also stressed that there are no ‘fixers‘ for the said program and that the DOH does not send text messages regarding its implementation.

“Walang fixer ang programa at wala ring text message na pinapadala ang DOH tungkol sa implementasyon ng ZBB,” he stated.
