As part of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) continuing disaster preparedness and response efforts, Secretary Rex Gatchalian meets the Taal team, composed of DSWD officials and personnel, who will handle disaster operations for Taal volcano eventualities.
The DSWD Chief assures the public that the Department is on alert and ready to augment necessary assistance to the local government units (LGUs) that might be affected in case Taal unrest worsens.
