Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Friday (October 3) turns over seed capital to fund the newly-organized Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA) in San Fernando City, Pampanga.

The SLP is the DSWD’s capability-building program that provides opportunities to the poor, vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalized sectors to access and acquire livelihood assets to improve their socio-economic conditions.

Joining Secretary Gatchalian in the simple turnover ceremony was Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao of the Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG). (AKDL)
