DSWD chief chats with 4Ps parent-leaders in Negros Occidental

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Friday (January 16) engages in a ‘kumustahan’ session with Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) parent leaders (PLs) in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

During the dialogue, the DSWD chief asked the beneficiaries how the 4Ps assisted them in sending their children to school, as well as their suggestions to improve the program’s implementation.

The kumustahan session with the PLs is part of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr’s directive for the DSWD to continuously enhance the implementation of the 4Ps across the country.

Joining the DSWD chief during the dialogue was Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao of the Disaster Response and Management Group (DRMG). (AKDL)
