Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian and officials from various local government units (LGUs) in Camarines Sur sign on Tuesday (August 6) a pledge of commitment to support the effective implementation of the agency’s innovative programs in the province.
The commitment signing was made during the Walang Gutom Information Caravan held at the Digital Transformation Center in Pili, Camarines Sur.
Among the local officials present in the event were Governor Luigi Villafuerte and Congressman Miguel Luis Villafuerte.
DSWD ofiicials who joined the information caravan were Undersecretary for Innovations Edu Punay, Asst. Secretary for Innovations Atty. Baldr Bringas, who is also Officer-In-Charge of the National Program Management Office of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP), Asst. Secretary and agency Spokesperson Irene Dumlao, and Field Office-5 (Bicol Region) Regional Director Norman Laurio.
