DSWD chief supports agro-forestry initiative for Aeta community

Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Friday (July 11) engaged with members of the Aeta community in Brgy. Nabuclod, Floridablanca, Pampanga where he also showed his support to the agro-forestry initiative for the indigenous group.

The DSWD chief joined local officials of Pampanga led by Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda in the distribution of farming supplies to the villagers for their sustainable farming and establishment of Project LAWA and BINHI sites in the area.

Also present in the activity were Floridablanca Mayor Michael Lugtu Galang, Arayat Mayor Jeffrey Luriz; Undersecretary Diana Rose Cajipe and Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao of the DSWD’s Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG). (AKDL)
