Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian expounds on the different agency programs on Wednesday (July 17) in a pre-State of the Nation Address (SONA) PTV-4 interview with veteran broadcaster Mike Abe.
Secretary Gatchalian highlighted the Department’s disaster response, development programs, and social welfare services during the 1-hour interview.
The DSWD chief also acknowledged the importance of a whole-of-government approach in achieving its mandate and in the successful implementation of the agency’s programs and services.
