Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian expresses his gratitude to the Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation for donating 1,953 sacks of rice to augment the disaster relief operations of the agency.
To formalize the donation, Secretary Gatchalian and Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation Vice Chairman David Go signed the deed of donation and acceptance on Wednesday (January 22) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City.
The sacks of rice were delivered to the agency last November intended for families and individuals affected by the series of typhoons and other disasters that battered the country in 2024.
Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation First Vice President Josephine Villanueva and DSWD Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations Paul Ledesma witnessed the signing.
