Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian reports to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr the status of the agency’s assistance to the families affected by the restiveness of Mt. Kanlaon during a situation briefing at the La Carlota South Elementary School II in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, on Friday (February 21).
Secretary Gatchalian said the agency will continue providing the evacuees with financial aid apart from the relief items.
