DSWD continues cash aid payout for quake-hit families in Sarangani

Families from Malapatan town in Sarangani, whose houses were partially damaged by the 6.8 magnitude tremor that struck the province, wait for their turn to receive their emergency cash transfer (ECT) from personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Field Office-12 ( SOCCSKSARGEN) at Barangay Lun Masla on Tuesday (January 23).

DSWD Field Office SOCCSKSARGEN expects to serve around 1,500 beneficiaries during the payout. Each family is eligible to receive Php13,590 which can be used to repair their homes.

Earlier on Monday (January 22), some 485 families with partially damaged houses from the municipality of Glan received their ECT from the DSWD Field Office-12.
