DSWD execs, partners attend launch of ready-to-eat food, national convention on climate resilience project

Climate resilience convention

The officials of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and national agency partners visit the booths set up by private sector-partners during the launching of ready-to-eat food (RTEF) packs and national convention of the Project LAWA (Local Adaptation to Water Access) at BINHI (Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished) on Monday (December 2) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

High-ranking government officials and partners who graced the event include Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Renato Solidum Jr., Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., Pasay City Mayor Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano, National Nutrition Council (NNC) Asst. Secretary Azucena Dayanghirang, United Nations World Food Programme (UN WFP) Country Director Regis Chapman, and other local chief executives.

DSWD Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Diana Rose Cajipe led the other agency officials, including Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao, Special Assistant to the Secretary (SAS) for Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB) Leo Quintilla, SAS for Special Projects Isabel Lanada, Disaster Response Management Bureau (DRMB) Director Michael Cristopher Mathay, and other regional directors.
