The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) marks its 75 years of dedicated service to the Filipino people with the theme “Henerasyon Ngayon, para sa Henerasyon ng Kinabukasan.”
On Monday (January 19), Undersecretary Fatima Aliah Dimaporo of the Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs Group (LIAG) led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the fair and bazaar that feature products of various Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPA) as part of the DSWD’s series of anniversary-related activities.

In keeping with the spirit of service and solidarity, a portion of the proceeds from the fair, which is being held at DSWD’s multi-purpose hall at the Central Office in Quezon City, will be donated to three children’s facilities, further giving purpose and meaning to the anniversary celebration.
Also present during the kick-off activity were Undersecretary Evelyn Aribon of the Office of the Secretary (OSEC), Undersecretary Adonis Sulit of the Policy and Planning Group (PPG), Undersecretary Denise Florence Bernos-Bragas of the Regulatory Services and Institutional Development Group (RSIDG), Asst. Secretary Juan Carlo Marquez for Planning, Asst. Secretary Rodolfo Santos for Social Protection Policy (SPP), Asst.
