Members of the Pag-abot reach out team of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) visited on Wednesday (May 28) the vicinity at the corner of Rufino and Adelantado Streets in Salcedo Village, Barangay Bel-Air in Makati City in an effort to locate the woman who surfaced from a sewerage in the area.
Once the woman’s whereabouts have been traced, the Pag-abot team will reach out to her and provide appropriate interventions such as temporary shelter.
Under the Pag-abot program, social workers roam around Metro Manila 24 hours a day and seven days a week to convince families and individuals in the streets to voluntarily come with them and be given the proper intervention and assistance they need to get back on their feet. (MBM)
