Commissioner Michelle Anne Gonzales, the newly-appointed Officer-in-Charge of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), paid a courtesy visit to Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Thursday (July 3) at the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City.
Both the DSWD and PCUP are now laying the groundwork for a shared vision with renewed priorities and strategic directions that are anchored on a proactive and holistic mission for re-imagined urban poor communities by helping them build environments that foster a dignified life, inclusive growth and thriving spaces.
