DSWD, World Bank exchange knowledge on use of digital ID for social services

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) welcomes representatives of the World Bank’s West Africa Unique Identification for Regional Integration and Inclusion (WURI) project during the learning exchange on the Philippines’ social protection programs on June 9 (Friday) at the DSWD Central Office.

The study visit aims to exchange knowledge and learnings, and form collaboration among participating countries on the implementation of digital identification as well as ways on how to integrate it with social services and social registries.
