The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) joins the nation in celebrating the birthday of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Saturday (September 13) by serving meals at the agency’s Walang Gutom Kitchen (WGK) in Pasay City.
DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, accompanied by Undersecretary Eduardo Punay of the Innovations and Programs Development Group (IPDG), personally served hot meals, lechon, and cake to the WGK beneficiaries.
The WGK is one of the Department’s innovative programs to help realize the birthday wish of President Marcos that no Filipino family goes hungry. (YADP)
