MODERN lifestyle living sometimes have unpleasant consequences. And most of these “unpleasant happenings” have negative impact on our health and surroundings.
Because everything can be remotely controlled, the number of obesity and sedentary lifestyle is also increasing. Illnesses often associated with older age are now affecting young adults and even children due to modern age living. Diabetes and hypertension are now getting “common” among children and young adults.
Just like older people, children with these health condition (especially diabetes) should eat a variety of healthy foods. But they may need to pay extra attention to the amount of carbohydrates they eat to maintain control of their blood sugar levels.

Club Wrap Recipe
1 whole-wheat tortilla, 7″ diameter
2 Tablespoons hummus
1 leaf of romaine lettuce
1 slice chicken meat
1 slice ham or pork luncheon meat
1 slice cheese
2 tomato slices
- Place tortilla on a flat surface.
- Spread hummus on one side of tortilla.
- Lay the lettuce, chicken, ham, cheese, and tomato on top of the hummus.
- Roll the tortilla in the shape of a cylinder.
