GUIMBA, Nueva Ecija — A 35-year-old tricycle driver was shot dead by an unidentified man Sunday afternoon here.
Deputy town police head Major Noel Gutierrez identified the fatality as Patrick Pagaduan, of Zulueta Subd., Bgy. Cawayan Bugtong, this town.
Reports said the shooting occurred at 3:55 p.m. Police received a call about the incident from a concerned citizen at around 4:15 p.m.
Gutierrez said lawmen found the victim’s body lying inside his tricycle parked at a waiting shed near the victim’s house.
Recovered at the crime scene were three fired cartridges, two live bullets, and a slug for a still unknown type of gun.
Gutierrez said they are still investigating the motive behind the killing.
