ALL security preparations are in place to ensure the safety of students, the teachers and the general public as regular classes resume in most government and private schools today in Metro Manila and other parts of the country, Philippine National Police chief, Director General Oscar D. Albayalde said yesterday.
BURIED again in the inside pages of the country’s major newspapers with nary a mention in the broadcast media is the news that the Philippine National Police has expressed elation over a latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey which showed greater public appreciation of the much-improved peace and order situation in the country.
