AI AI De Las Alas is very happy that the premiere night of her movie with the Ex Battalion, “Sons of Nanay Sabel”, at SM Megamall is a huge success and jampacked with people. She now wants to announce that the playdate of “Sons of Nanay Sabel” has been moved from May 1 to May 8.

This is a wise move, considering that almost all movie theaters now have been given to “Avengers: Endgame” that is sure to slay all competition even in its second week of showing. That’s why we’re worried about the Fox Philippines first offering, “Maledicto”, if they could get enough theaters at all when it opens on May 1.

The feedback over the movie is very positive and encouraging. The fans of Ai Ai are glad that she went back to doing comedy because lately, she has been doing nothing but serious drama films like “Area” and “School Service” that gained acclaimed in international filmfests and for which she won best actress awards.

“Ako rin naman, I really missed doing comedies and making people laugh,” says Ai Ai. Natural comedians sila and I’m proud of them.”

“Sons of Nanay Sabel” was written by Mel del Rosario. “Si Mel din ang sumulat noon ng ‘Ang Tanging Ina’, which was a big blockbuster kaya naging series ito of other ‘Tanging Ina’ movies kaya gamay na namin ang isa’t isa. Ngayon heto, balik ako sa pagiging ina in ‘Sons of Nanay Sabel’ at ginagarantiyahan kong matatatawa at masisiyahan ang viewers nito.

Sina Daryl as Bieber at Archie as Justin ay naampon ng isang mayamang businessman.

Sina James as Baby James at Mark as EZ, napunta naman ng isang matandang lola.
