REMEMBER Crown Seven Film Productions’ build-up star in the ’80s Emily Loren?
Emily was in her teens when she was discovered in the early ’80s by then film producer Jessie Ejercito, the younger brother of former President and currently mayor of Manila Joseph `Erap’ Estrada.
Emily was introduced in the 1984 movie, “Bulaklak ng Apoy” written and directed by Edgardo Reyes at tinampukan nina Mark Gil, the late George Estregan, Rey `PJ’ Abellana, Anita Linda, Maritess Samson and Marissa Delgado.
Ang iba pang pelikulang ginawa ni Emily include “Dumalaga,” “White Slavery,” “Napakasakit Kuya Eddie,” “Shake, Rattle & Roll 1” “Take Out Girls,” “Room 69” at iba pa.
In our recent trip to the US, Emily called us up para mangumusta. She’s currently based in Ottawa, Canada with a new Filipino partner na si Joel Flores na batchmate niya noon sa Jose Rizal University pero bago siya nag-settle sa Canada ay namirmihan siya ng Tokyo, Japan sa loob ng halos 19 years.
Emily works as supervisor sa Lacoste store habang si Joel works as IT consultant in Ottawa.
“I can do support and mother roles kahit contravida roles,” aniya.
Emily never had a child.
