Fight instructor ni Marian inatake sa puso

April 11, 2019

He was a professional martial artist and stands 6 ft. tall.

Narito ang kanyang post last Wednesday tungkol sa namayapang actor: “A TRIBUTE TO A GREAT MAN”.  “It is with deepest sorrow that I announce that the renowned action movie “kontrabida” BOY ROQUE has left us and has joined our Creator in Heaven, today around 7 a.m. due to heart attack.

"But more than announcing his untimely death, let me announce some facts about his life. Afterall, his story was a celebration of life.

"Although everyone knows him as movie villain, he is so much more.  He is a martial artist, a seasoned movie fight choreographer and action director and a veteran stuntman.

"Contrary to his stereotypical “kontrabida’ look (long curly hair, full-grown beard, rugged clothes on a more than 6-foot body, this man is the exact opposire of the word “villain”.

"Let me start off by saying that his most positive trait is his FAITH.  Yes, he is a Godly man.  Never have I seen a person offer prayers before and after each training, each practice, each shoot.  He would lift his “ka-eksena’ to the Lord in prayer so that the possibility of hurting each other will be minimized, to evade possibilities of bodily damage and to keep everyone safe.

"His second best trait is his being an extremely RESPECTFUL man.  He never takes advantage of women. When teaching fight choreography, he would ask permission first before holding an elbow or shoulder or even the tip of the finger of any female.  He would instruct carefully and delicately how the moves will be executed before doing it.  I have never seen anyone do this in the movie industry before.

"And lastly, he is a very good friend.  He would drop everything if a friend needs a helping hand.

"Thank you so much Kumpareng Boy for all the laughters and memories. Sayang.  We wont be able to do “Sugar and Spies” Part 3 and so on anymore. We wont be able to do the full-action indie film that I was planning three years ago. Anyway, am sad about your departure but am happy that you’re happy in Heaven. GOD is with you now.

"To all the people I know, celebrate life now.  Life is short.  We don’t know when our time will come.  Live life to the fullest.  Laugh. Forgive. Love the people around us.  Never cease to love.  We only have a short moment in life. Love.”
