SOME folks have such fertile imagination that they easily jump to conclusions and gullible readers might quickly believe them. As one writer said: “Mga asyumera. Kung anu-ano agad ang ina-assume.”
Examples: just because Alden Richards did a movie with Kathryn Bernardo for Star Cinema, someone reported that he is now transferring to ABS-CBN. They also assumed this at the time Dingdong Dantes did movies like “Segunda Mano” and “One More Try” with Star Cinema, but he’s still with GMA Network up to now.
After Eddie Garcia had an accident on the taping of “Rosang Agimat”, someone quickly wrote: “Hindi na matutuloy ang launching show ni Gabbi Garcia.” GMA now says there’s no truth to that report.
Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz saw each other in Palawan. Someone quickly assumed that John Lloyd is now making a comeback in showbiz and he will do a new movie with Bea, who disproves this by saying they’re cooking up something but not a film project.
But the most laughable report for us is when someone swiftly concluded that Kris Aquino is turning her back on social media. Just a day after they wrote that, Kris is back on the internet saying she just made a mistake of deleting her accounts. Kris has threatened several times before that she’s leaving her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, but she always comes back. This will never really happen as Kris is an inveterate and constant fame seeker so is understandably addicted to social media where she gets her exposure now.
