Misis in John Travolta pumanaw na

July 14, 2020

SUMAKABILANG-buhay na ang 57-year old actress-wife ng veteran singer-dancer, actor and pilot na si John Travolta of the 70’s “Grease” and “Saturday Night Fever” fame na si Kelly Preston dahil sa breast cancer.  Her husband actor John and children  Ella Bleu and Benjamin were so devastated.

Bago namatay si Kelly (Kelly Kamaleluha Smith who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii) ay nauna sa kanya ang kanilang 16-year-old eldest son na si Jett Trovalta nung January 2, 2009 who was diagnosed of Kawasaki disease at ang early age na madalas magka-seizure.

Ang mag-asawang John at Kelly ay may dalawa pang anak, sina Ella Blue (20) at Benjamin (10).

Kelly was first married to actor Kevin Gage in 1985 pero nagkahiwalay sila nung 1987.  Nagkaroon din sila ng relasyon ni George Clooney nung late 90s and got engaged with Charlie Sheen in 1990 pero nagkahiwalay din.

Taong 1997 naman nang magkakilala sina John at Kelly and got married in 1991 at halos 29 years na silang mag-asawa.

What a coincidence!

Narito ang madamdaming post ni John sa pagpanaw ng kanyang wife na si Kelly Preston:

“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer.  She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses  at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped her, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side.  Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.  I will be taking sometime to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.  But please know that I will feel your outpouring  of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal.

All my love,
