MYRTLE Sarossa donned a sexy and revealing superhero costume in her last movie, “Wander Bra”. More recently, she posted in her social media account photos of herself in a swimming pool wearing a skimpy two-piece bikini that shows off her cleavage to great advantage. She remarked that she doesn’t have a perfect body and she’s flawed in many ways, but netizens quickly contradicted her, saying she has an awesome and flawless figure.
Some even suggested that she must have sought cosmetic surgery like breast enlargement for her to obtain such a great body. Some folks also said she’s obviously just fishing for compliments as she really looks okay. Whatever her reason might be, Myrtle really got noticed because of her sexy photos. But in her new movie, the action trilogy “Tres”, where she appears in the “Amats” episode with Luigi Revilla, she says she plays a totally different role.
“Hindi ako sexy at all dito kundi manang na manang ako,” she says. “Sobrang mahinhin, conservative at ’di makabasag-pinggan. Pero mai-in love ako kay Luigi in the story kahit alam kong may masama siyang bisyo. Ako 'yung pambalanse rito kay Assunta de Rossi na bad influence sa kanya at nagturo sa kanyang mag-drugs. Ako naman 'yung good influence na tutulong sa kanya para magbago siya and go straight.”
How is it working with the Revilla Brothers in “Tres” that also stars Jolo and Bryan Revilla and opens today in theatres nationwide? “Malaking karangalan po na makapagtrabaho ako para sa film company nila, Imus Productions, and to work with their family. Mababait silang lahat. Maasikaso sa set. Hindi ka gugutumin sa dami ng pagkain. First time ko rin to do an action-drama at nag-enjoy talaga ako and also learned a lot from our director, Dondon Santos. I’m proud to be part of a film like this that carries a good message for the viewers, specially the youth. It shows how drugs can destroy a person but there’s always hope, no matter how dark your life is, basta may mga taong tutulong sa’yo para ka makapagbagumbuhay.”
