BACK to her old form and every inch a looker pa rin si Precious Lara Quigaman, known among showbiz enthusiast as just Lara Quigaman. Hindi siya halatang kapapanganak lang seven weeks ago with her second baby, whom she and husband, actor Marco Alcaraz, named Tobias.
Their elder son, Noah Lamar, is nearly seven years old na at nag-aaral na.
Members of the entertainment media had the chance na ma-meet at makausap si Lara sa presscon of her new movie, Sarah and Cedie, one among six advocacy films produced by Flying High Productions and directed by Errol Ropero.
Also with Lara in Sarah and Cedie, which feature two new child performers, siblings in real life, is Alma Concepcion.
At the presscon nga pala, Lara, who was Miss International 2005, was asked kung bakit hindi ang ating candidate na si Marie Ahtisa Manalo, who looked, in fairness, every inch a winner among 77 candidates representing their respective country, ang nanalo.
Lara’s casual reply: “Puwedeng nakatulong kay Miss Venezuela that she was celebrating her birthday that night.”
Miss Venezuela was Maritini Velasco. Our candidate Marie Ahtisa, emerged first runner-up.
