THE Kapuso Network energizes its morning programming with two of its award-winning educational shows, “Art Angel” and “iBilib”, now seen after the acclaimed news and magazine show, “Unang Hirit” and the action-comedy show of Jackie Chan. They’re perfect for children who want to learn more about arts and crafts and also gain general information about a lot of things around us, specially science.
“Art Angel” is seen on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8:25. Originally hosted by PIa Arcangel, Tonipet Gaba and Krystal Reyes and, later, Roxanne Barcelo, it ran for seven years and won so many awards, including the Anak TV Seal, PMPC Star award for best children’s show, Los Angeles TV Award and Gawad Tanglaw. “Art Angel” brings joy and knowledge to kiddie viewers by taking them along with the hosts in their search for different adventures in the world of art.
In turn, “iBilib” is a show effectively combining information and entertainment inspired by the hit magical Japanese show, “Wonders of Hours”. It will be shown Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:25 AM. It shows amazing but practical science experiments that seem impossible to do. Hosted by Chris Tiu and the comic duo of Moymoy Palaboy, it unravels many seemingly bizarre happenings in the world of science and the hosts perform and participate in actual experiments done in the show with no camera tricks involved.
“We’re happy that kids can now watch our show in the mornings,” says former cager and now DOST ambassador Chris Tiu. “Ngayong wala munang pasukan sa mga eskuwelahan, I think this is a great platform for alternative learning. What we do in the show is to teach science and kids who cannot go out now because of the pandemic can surely learn a lot from it.”
These shows will air after the hilarious but exciting “Jackie Chan Adventures” on 8 AM, which comes after GMA-7’s well loved morning show, “Unang Hirit”, that starts at 6 AM. After ‘Art Angel’ and “iBilib”, don’t miss celebrity mommies Camille Prats and Iya Villania with their entertaining chikahan about mothering and home life in “Mars Pa More” at 8:45 AM. With all these morning programs, you can never go wrong in starting your day right with the Kapuso Network.
