Nakapagbibiro siya sa It's Showtime mentioning (and praising) rival show, Eat Bulaga. Napagsalita niya on air si Willie Revillame na alam ng lahat ay isa nang Kapuso (with his show, Wowowin aired on GMA7).
Kung sikat ba, sasali ba sila rito? Think again.
To date, his music video "My New Crushie" has one million views - and counting. And based on the latest statistics report of Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the number of visitors from the Philippines in 2018 grew 44% from 2017 - the highest growth in Southeast Asian region.
SIX local horror films were shown in the first half of 2019 and they clearly demonstrate that it’s really hard to do a horror film that really works. Sorry to say that not one of them succeeded in scaring us, from “Second Coming” starring Jodi Sta. Maria, “Eerie” with Bea Alonzo and “Maledicto” with Miles Ocampo to “Kuwaresma” with Sharon Cuneta, “Banal” with the Biguel love team and now, “Clarita”, once again starring Jodi Sta. Maria. Let’s review here the first three flicks.
IKINASAL na nitong nakaraaang Lunes, June 17, ang singer and former child actor na si Makisig Morales (22) to his Fil-Aussie beauty queen fiancée na si Nicole Joson sa isang intimate beach wedding sa La Perouse in Sydney, Australia na dinaluhan ng kanilang respective families and close friends.
JOINING the league of successful Kapuso star-entrepreneurs (like Marvin Agustin, Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza and Kris Bernal) is Bea Binene who recently opened her own franchise of Mix and Brew Café at the food court of SM Megamall (Bldg. A). Since this is the first time ng 21-year-old actress na pumasok sa negosyo, she admits na very hands-on umano siya sa lahat ng bagay related to the business.
SOLENN Heussaff’s entry in GMA-7’s hit romcom on primetime, “Love You Two”, is helping boost the show’s ratings. She gives a contagiously energetic performance in her role as Lianne Martinez, Gabby Concepcion’s ex-girlfriend who returns to his life and competes with Jennylyn Mercado for his attention. But Solenn’s Lianne is not really written as a contravida as she’s on friendly terms with Jen as Raffy.
AI AI De Las Alas was mentioned when we heard mass last Sunday. We were surprised as they were plugging her concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Monday, June 24. This is for the benefit of the Kristong Hari church, now under construction in Fairview. Ai Ai is really active in helping such church activities, so it’s not surprising that she became a papal awardee.
