Migo enjoys good publicity mileage after bad incident

MIGO Adecer suddenly became the talk of the town after being arrested for a hit and run incident. He won in GMA-7’s Starstruck artista search four years ago but he never achieved the kind of popularity (or notoriety) that he is enjoying now. He’s all over print, on TV and social media, and the kind of mileage and exposure he’s now enjoying is something that will rival the works of any good PR firm that GMA can hire to help boost public awareness of him.

He said he remained friends up to now with all of them.

Z Pop group storms Manila

Z POP Dream is a new group of male and female singers-dancers from 7 Asian countries: the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Taiwan and Japan. Viva Communications brought them to Manila and they were presented to the press at Teatrino last Thursday. “Viva feels privileged to be part of this new concept in making stars,” says Boss Vic del Rosario of Viva, the partner of Glimmer, which represents Z-Pop in Manila. “This goes beyond K-Pop and has a One-Asia goal that will not only create stars but revolutionize the methods used in the global entertainment industry.”

This is one of the three finalists in the coming Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) in September introduced officially in a special presscon by FDCP Chair Liza Dino. The other two entries are Perci Intalan’s “The Panti Sisters” and Rod Marmol’s “Cuddle Weather”.

Mark on breakup with Winwyn: No third party, no parental disapproval

MARK Herras last played a supporting role as contravida in “The Cure”. He now plays support again to Max Collins and Jason Abalos in “Bihag”. How does he feel about it? “Okay lang,” he says. Later on, it will be revealed na may back story pala ako at meron akong direktang kinalaman sa kaso.”

Eric switches back to acting

ERIC Quizon has two memorable films shown last year, the hit Mother Day’s presentation “My 2 Mommies” and the second best picture winner at the last Metro Filmfest, “One Great Love”. But now, he is back into acting in GMA-7’s new primetime series, “Sahaya”.

L.A. suportado ni Imelda Papin

March 28, 2019
