OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District -District Police Intelligence and Operations Unit (MPD-DPIOU) arrested a former barangay chairman who is said to be wanted for two counts of statutory rape.
Nabbed in the operation conducted the other day at the Northbound of NLEX Tollgate, Tabang Exit was suspect Bryan, 44, of Sampaloc 1, Dasmariñas, Cavite. He was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Presiding Judge Michaele Vito of the Regional Trial Court 4TH Judicial Region Br. 172- Gumaca, Quezon and dated August 21,2024.
No bail was recommended for his provisional liberty and the accused is said to be the Top 3 Provincial Most Wanted Person in Quezon PPO for allegedly raping a minor twice.
PLt. Col John Guiagui, OIC of the DPIOU, said the arrest was made at 2:05 p.m. when the suspect’s vehicle stopped at the tollgate.
Guiagui said the suspect is at the MPD Custodial Facility and is set to be brought to the Quezon court.
