Beginning May 15 (Monday), all city officials and employes holding office at the Manila City Hall and the public who will be transacting there are required to wear face masks.

This, after Mayor Honey Lacuna announced the continued rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the city at least during the past couple of weeks.

It was learned that Lacuna had directed City Administrator Bernie Ang to issue an order to the effect that all offices and visitors at the Manila City Hall be required to wear face masks,, including the satellite offices or those being run by the city but are located outside of the City Hall.

In a separate development, Lacuna also directed all offices in the city to already prepare their respective payrolls, as she announced that the mid-year bonus may now be claimed.
