A FEMALE trader was stabbed and robbed by an unidentified suspect on her way to her stall at the public market in Lemery, Batangas early morning on Thursday.
Lemery Municipal Police Station chief Major Garman G. Manabat identified the victim as Josephine Camson.
Initial investigation showed Camson was casually walking alone inside the town public market going to her stall at the meat shop section around 3:40 a.m. when the suspect grabbed her shoulder bag.
The victim refused to let go of her bag, prompting the suspect to stab her in the arm.
The suspect flee with the bag containing more or less P 200,000 and two cellphones worth P8,000.
The victim was rushed to the Metro Lemery Medical Center.Publication Source : People's Tonight
