From July 15 to July 20, Belgrade, Serbia will host one of the key esports events of the season – FISSURE Summer 2025. This international Counter-Strike 2 tournament will take place in the famous Sava Center and bring together sixteen strong teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool. The event is a major stop on the summer CS2 circuit, right between BLAST.tv Austin and IEM Cologne, and has already generated a lot of excitement among fans. 1xBet, a committed supporter of esports, has prepared this article to help you follow all the key moments of the tournament.
The format starts with a Swiss-style Play-In stage, featuring 16 teams – 8 invited based on Valve’s rankings from May 15 and 8 who qualified through regional events. The strongest eight teams from this stage will move on to the LAN playoffs in Belgrade. All matches that determine elimination or advancement will be best-of-three, while the rest are played as best-of-one. The final stage in Belgrade will be a single-elimination bracket, with all matches as best-of-three and a best-of-five grand final.
The prize distribution is also notable. The total prize pool of $1,000,000 is divided between players and organizations with a 45/55 split. The champion team will take home $290,000 for the organization and $150,000 for the players. Second place earns $220,000 and $100,000 respectively. Even teams placing 13th to 16th will receive $5,000 per player, following Valve’s new prize standards for 2025.
Though the final list of teams hasn’t been officially confirmed, fans are watching closely for appearances from top squads such as MOUZ, Vitality, Team Spirit, and Shopify Rebellion. MOUZ have reportedly completed a bootcamp in Europe following IEM Dallas and are entering the tournament in solid form. North American teams are believed to be preparing locally, which may give EU-based teams a slight strategic advantage in terms of practice quality and scrim partners.
FISSURE Summer 2025 is more than just a tournament – it is part of the FISSURE Playground initiative aiming to position Serbia as a growing hub for top-tier esports. Organizers are focused on creating a great experience for both live audiences and online viewers. Those attending in person will enjoy merchandise stands, fan interaction zones, VR spaces, and opportunities to meet pro players. Matches will be streamed globally in multiple languages, including English and Russian.
This tournament is expected to reveal new rising talent and deliver dramatic matchups, especially during the tight Swiss stages and final rounds. With high stakes, fresh faces, and a professional atmosphere, FISSURE Summer 2025 is shaping up to be a highlight of the CS2 summer season.
