Five houses razed by Sampaloc fire

A total of five homes were razed to the ground after fire hit a residential area located at the corner of Prudencio and Simoun Streets in Sampaloc, Manila.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the fire struck at 2:17 p.m. and reached first alarm before it was declared ‘fire out’ at 3:26 p.m.

Ten families were reported to have lost their homes and there are no casualties.

The arson division is still probing the incident to determine the extent of damage to property.
