CITING her genuine concern and efforts to improve the health system in the country, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos was praised by Mayor Honey Lacuna.

The pronouncement was made by Lacuna as she joined the First Lady in the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Pediatric & Adult Specialty Building at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) located on Taft Avenue, Manila.

According to Lacuna, the attention given by the First Lady to the PGH is a very welcome development, noting that since it is located in Manila, most of those who benefit from the specialty services in the said hospital are city residents.
