A MEASLY eatery with tables on the street was attacked by four armed, motorcycle-riding men who staged a daring holdup the other night.
The incident shocked customers who were then eating outside the Pancit Cabagan on Blumentritt Road in Sampaloc, that it sent them fleeing toward different directions in panic.
While they ran, the owner of the eatery surrendered his jewelry and other valuables with an estimated value of P200,000 at gunpoint.
In the CCTV footage, the customers were quietly eating outside the said eatery which has an extension of tables on the streets, when the suspects aboard two motorcycles, arrived and announced the holdup with guns drawn, at 7:46 p.m. on August 7.
On seeing guns, the customers panicked and ran toward different directions while the holdup went on and was done in a matter of seconds only.
The suspects successfully escaped and sped aboard their motorcycles toward an unknown direction.
