FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist placed seventh in SWS survey

SWS Survey

The FPJ Panday Bayanihan partylist ranks seventh place out of 156 party lists that will win the seat based on the latest Social Weather Station survey.

An analysis by Social Weather Stations (SWS) found that if the next May 2025 elections were held today, just eight of the 156 party-list groups running for congressional seats would be able to secure one seat in the House of Representatives.

Considering a drop from 13.51 percent in December 2024, 4PS (Pagtibayin at Palaguin ang Pangkabuhayang Pilipino) leads the race with 11.8 percent of the vote.

Second place goes to Duterte Youth, who recorded 6.05 percent, a notable rise from 4.14 percent in December.

The Party-List System Act (Republic Act No. 7941) states that in order for party-list organizations to be eligible for one seat in the House of Representatives, they must receive a minimum of 2 percent of the total votes. With a maximum of three seats per party-list group, those who surpass this threshold are eligible for additional seats.

With 5.41 percent, ACT-CIS comes in third place, a slight decrease from its December 2024 voter preference of 5.63 percent. It is anticipated that ACT-CIS will win two House seats with this percentage.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan finished in seventh place with 2.45 percent, a notable rise from his December ranking of 1.73 percent in 11th place. Kabataan, with 2.11 percent, also made the list.

As a result of their growing popularity, both FPJ Panday Bayanihan and Kabataan party-list organizations have won seats in Congress.

Five other party-list groups, meanwhile, have each surpassed the 2-percent threshold and are assured of at least one seat. Senior Citizens received 3.43 percent, while Ako Bicol, which had dropped from its December rating of 3.56 percent to 3.27 percent, came in second.

Additionally, Tingog’s 2.75 percent was marginally less than its 2.86 percent prior. Tingog and Ako Bicol are still in the top eight despite these drops.

Stratbase Consultancy commissioned the survey, which was completed by 1,800 respondents nationwide between January 17 and 20. The error margin is ±2.31 percent.
