A 42-YEAR-OLD heavy equipment operator was arrested for frustrated murder Wednesday in Tondo, Manila.
Renato Mendez alias “Badiong,” of 909-K Sta. Rosa St., Tondo, was nabbed at around 4:30 p.m.
P/ Major Rommel Anicete, chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Manila Police District, said the suspect was nabbed near the corner of Pacheco and Pitong Gatang Streets in Tondo through tipped information.
The arrest of Mendez was pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by Judge Marlina Manuel of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 25.
Mendez is facing before the said branch a case of frustrated murder committed on March 6, 2020.
