Garcia joins Creamline

JUDE Garcia, one of the key players in the Philippine men’s team’s breakthrough bronze medal in the 30th Southeast Asian Games, became the newest member of Creamline’s beach volleyball program.

The announcement was made through the club’s social media accounts Wednesday.

Together with James Buytrago, Jaron Requinton and Edmar Bonono, Garcia was part of the squad that gave the country its first-ever podium finish in the men’s beach volleyball competititions of the biennial meet two years ago in Subic.

In his most recent indoor stint, Garcia powered Far Eastern University to a 2-0 record in the UAAP Season 82 men’s volleyball tournament which was scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the previous season, Garcia led the Tamaraws to a silver medal in the beach and indoor volleyball events, respectively.

Prior to joining Creamline beach volleyball, Garcia was part of Cignal HD squad which won the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference championship two years ago.
